Had a very interesting day Saturday! Dennis McVay brought his General Lee to Backstreet Performance for a tune. The car was the driftcar from the last movie with Jessica Simpson. It was gorgeous in person and well built (the car, not just Jessica). Rhys Millen drove it and trick's included a drift brake (two calipers per rear rotor), chassis stiffening, and suspension work. Erik and I spent a lot of time with the built 440 getting it just right. After we pulled it off the dyno, Dennis asked if I wanted to drive it. Hell Yes! We took it up the street and ran up through the gears a couple times. Ran strong with good power and it handled surprising well. Thanks to Dennis, I got a chance to drive one of my childhood hero's and it was better than I could have imagined.
